Biography of Sandra Bullock


              
Early Life

Sandra Bullock (born July 26, 1964) grew up largely on the road. She studied music and dance while she traveled throughout Europe, and made her first stage appearance with 5 years in a small role for an opera in Nuremburg, Germany. 

When Sandra was 12 years old, her family moved back to the D.C. area, where she attended Washington-Lee High School. Bullock then enrolled in East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina, to study acting, but left college only three credits shy of her bachelor's degree. Instead, she moved to New York in 1986 to pursue acting in earnest. She supported herself with waitressing and bartending work.


Career

She rose to fame in the 1990s roles in films such as Demolition Man, Speed, A Time to Kill, Hope Floats...
In the new millennium, Sandra starred in Miss Congeniality, Two Weeks Notice , Crash, The Lake House, The Proposal, The Blind Side...

Children

Sandra announced on April 28, 2010, that she had proceeded with plans to adopt a son born in January 2010 in New Orleans. Bullock and James had begun an initial adoption process four months earlier. Bullock's son began living with them in January 2010, but they chose to keep the news private until after the Oscars in March 2010. However, given the couple's separation and then divorce, Sandra continued the adoption of her son Louis Bardo Bullock, as a single parent.



Relationships

Sandra was once engaged to actor Tate Donovan, whom she met while filming Love Potion No. 9; their relationship lasted three years, Matthew McConaughey and Ryan Gosling.

                            


She is listed in the 2012 edition of Guinness World Records as the highest-paid actress, with $56 million. In 2013, she starred in The Heat, financially the most successful comedy of the year at the domestic box office, and Gravity, which was released on October 4, 2013 to coincide with the beginning of World Space Week. As one of the highest grossing films of the year, Gravity is Bullock's most successful film critically and commercially.
